Analyse building specifications, codes, space to create architectural design.
Prepare detailed architectural drawings for a commercial construction project.
Draw rough and detailed scale plans for foundations, buildings and structures, based on preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets and other data.
Layout and plan the construction project using computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment and software to prepare the drawings, charts and records.
Supervise, coordinate, and inspect the work of designers and relevant personnel to the construction project.
Work with architect on construction site to ensure builder compliance with design specifications and advising on design corrections.
Check dimensions of materials to be used and assign numbers to lists of materials.
