Our company based in Brackenfell seek to employ a draughtsman.
Job requirements:
- Candidates must have experience in estimating.
- Salary: R12,000 Cost to company
- Proficient in Revit.
- Proficient in MEP.
- Proficient in AutoCad.
- Proficient with Mechanical Designs, HVAC experience would be advantageous.
- A fast learner able to adapt to all the different types of challenges and jobs is what we are looking for. Time is critical in this industry.
- Good computer knowledge is beneficial.
- Must be hard working, diligent and able to meet deadlines.
- Good people skills are required in order to work with clients.
- Relevant or similar degree or diploma.
- 2 years working experience in a similar field/industry.
- Start date: 1 August or soonest available
Job responsibilities:
- Receive brief from manager
- Source supplier quotes in line with spec and project requirements and within deadline date
- Work out actual cost prices by deducting any supplier discounts that may apply
- Accurately report back to manager within deadline date with necessary info and quotations
- Numbers and accuracy driven
- Type quotations and revise quotations
- Work and understand excel as this is platform most often used during tender/quotation process
- Reports to: Commercial Manager and/or Sales Director
