A well-established company based in Cape Town is seeking a qualified Draughtsperson to join their dynamic team. Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
- Diploma in Draughting or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience working in a technical drawing office.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and PDM software.
- Comprehensive knowledge of stainless steel, aluminium, and Alusteel materials.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and high standards of quality.
- Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
- Effective administrative, planning, and supervisory skills.
- Ability to delegate tasks and lead a team when necessary.
- Ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and be proactive.
- A valid driver's license is advantageous.
- Strong collaborative skills, with an emphasis on teamwork.
- Oversee the creation and management of technical drawings for both internal production and external suppliers.
- Manage technical systems and ensure their effective operation.
- Program, nest, and operate robotic machinery, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Generate flat patterns for production purposes.
- Design tools and assist in product development through research and design initiatives.
- Collaborate with the sales team and clients to provide technical information and support.
- Maintain and update equipment manuals, brochures, and related documentation.
- Support the production team by developing engineering concepts and offering solutions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of ISO policies and procedures.
- Create detailed reports and presentations for technicians and management as required.
