WASA (PTY) LTD has a challenging opportunity for a dynamic, ambitious individual to join our company at Integra.
We are currently looking for 6x Drum/Tyre and site work Operators, who wants to build and maintain a career at our Integra Site.
The applicant must have the ability to:
- Change nozzles and liners on a daily basis to ensure product quality and maintenance on the machinery
- Manage the machine to ensure product quality is at optimum at all relevant times
- Ensure a timorously production flow by changing the drums after each new drum is produced by using the crane
- Set the machinery according to the required specifications for each new product to ensure that welding and product quality is at an optimum level
- Change the welding wire when finished to ensure a continuous production flow
- Report any breakdowns in production immediately to the Shift Supervisor to ensure timorously and optimum production
- Assist Shift Supervisor in repairing breakdowns to ensure timorously and optimum production
- Ensure that all machinery is maintained daily to an optimum level
- Ensure that an optimum level of safety is maintained at all relevant times by wearing and using the safety gear and equipment as prescribed.
- Take part in site work activities in and outside of SA.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science as subjects
- Relevant product and industry knowledge
- Sub-Arc Welding experience an advantage
- Willing to work shifts
