Educational Requirements:
Matric
Hospitality qualification
Experience Requirements:
Must have at least 2 – 3 Years’ experience in a relevant role
Must have experience the Food and Beverage stock
Supervisory or line management experience with a staff compliment of 20+ within the gaming / gambling arena
Must be computer literate in Word, Excel and Outlook
Must be well spoken and able to communicate in English
Own Transport
Responsibilities:
Management and monitoring of gaming staff on site
Required to work shifts, over weekends, on public holidays and during peak holiday seasons
Required to substitute during staff absenteeism
Daily monitoring that gaming operations adhere to all applicable legislation, internal controls and procedures.
Implementation and co-ordination of training of amendments pertaining to legislation, internal controls and procedures as directed
Ensure that the highest possible levels of customer service is delivered, that customers are appropriately dealt with and that customers are assisted with gaming equipment
Keep operating costs to a minimum whilst not affecting standards and levels of service
Verification and reconciliation of cash on a daily basis
Maintenance of stock on site
Assist the Branch Manager with implementation of marketing programmes
Ensure effective communication by conducting regular staff meetings
Provide a safe environment for staff and customers
Safeguard and appropriately maintain company assets
Working knowledge of all operations systems as well as gaming and related equipment on site
Daily monitoring of gaming equipment and other operations systems on site
Provide a management presence on the gaming floor
Deputise for the Branch Manager in his/her absence
Opening and closing of the site
Required to meet daily reporting deadlines
Assist the Branch Manager with formal staff performance reviews
Development, training and motivation of staff
Conduct disciplinary inquiries in line with the company’s disciplinary code

Candidate will undergo competency tests as well as a polygraph
