Job description

To develop and support e-Commerce platforms for the group of companies.
 
Responsibilities:
 
Develop and maintain e-Commerce websites using programming languages such as PHP, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS
Create and manage databases to store customer and product information
Implement and maintain secure payment gateways and order processing systems
Maintain existing programming code on the system to ensure continuity,  sustainability, and accuracy of information
Monitor website performance and identify areas for improvement
Collaborate with designers and UX specialists to implement new designs and improve website aesthetics
Ensure seamless integration of third-party tools and applications 
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver solutions that meet those needs 
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in e-Commerce development.
 
 
RequirementsRequirements:
 
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience 
Minimum 3 years experience developing e-commerce sites using Shopify, with a deep understanding of Shopify's APIs, apps, and webhooks 
Strong programming skills in Python, with experience building backend systems and databases 
Experience working with front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and with front-end frameworks such as React and Vue.js
Experience with version control tools, such as Git 
Familiarity with web development tools and frameworks, such as Flask,  Django, and Node.js would be advantageous 
Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud, and with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes 
Excellent communication, planning, and time management skills
High level of commercial awareness.
