The EDO assists the ED Manager to identify and design community projects that make a lasting impact. Another key output is to monitor and evaluate ED and SED projects in line with the plant strategic objectives.

Education Requirements
- Minimum of a degree in Social Sciences and/or Development studies or equivalent NQF level
- 1 3 years work experience in the field of Social Economic Development
- Demonstrated knowledge of:
- The South African Renewable Energy Independent Power Producers Programme
- Enterprise and Socio-Economic Development best practices
- Stakeholder engagement and report writing
- Public Relations in the context of community engagement
- Strong project management skills
- Good interpersonal skills to liaise with a variety of s
- Cross-functional teamwork competencies takeholders and service providers
- Identify project opportunities through consultation with relevant stakeholders
- Draft proposals for proposed projects including budget estimations
- Coordinate meetings with all relevant partners to monitor and evaluate project implementation
- Review and update stakeholder database
- Maintain cordial stakeholder relationships
- Assist with the engagement between Community Trusts, Worker Trusts, and Project Company
- Draft and submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on monitoring and evaluation reports in the communities and assist with reporting to the IPP Office
- Providing guidance with regards to EDO projects
- Ensuring monitoring and evaluation of EDO projects
- Ensuring the facilitation of all enterprise development activities for the local communities
- Tracking all and reporting on procurement of enterprise development
- Ensuring facilitation of all preferential local procurement activities for the local communities
- Tracking and reporting on procurement of preferential local procurement
- Delivering on EDO Strategy throughout year
- Exposure to and knowledge of Microsoft office 365 suite
- Valid Drivers License
