- Proofread political, economic and industry-specific content. Check copy for consistency, style, figures, libel & copyright infringement, grammar and punctuation.
- Communicate closely with the wider Research, Sub-Editorial and Production teams to ensure timely publication of content.
- Manage high daily and weekly workloads.
- Contribute to sub-editorial process improvements.
- Degree in an English language-oriented or adjacent field.
- Experience of editing/proofreading in an English-language environment.
- Excellent written English, grammar and proofreading skills, besides meticulous attention to detail.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, and an ability to grasp new technologies/systems quickly.
- Excellent time management and organisation skills.
- Demonstrable ability to handle large volumes of work.
- Ability to work in a large team and engage with colleagues.
- Interest in current affairs and international business/economics/politics.
