MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To present and facilitate Higher Education and Training programmes and courses to Mediclinic students and employees in order to acquire competence (incl. cognitive, psychomotor and affective skills) as independent healthcare practitioners on completion of training.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
Ensure compliance to Higher Education & Training and American Heart Association (AHA) standards
Design and assess learning material and interventions
Facilitate learning process, incl. theoretical and clinical facilitation
Coordinate and administrate student-related processes
Required Education
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Masters Degree in Nursing will serve as a recommendation (in progress, or willing to commence with a Master Degree in Jan 2024)
PG Dip / Post- Basic Diploma in Perioperative Nursing / Operating Room or Theatre
Diploma / Degree in Nursing
DESIRED EDUCATION: PhD in Nursing
Health Service Management / Nursing Administration will serve as a recommendation
Required Experience
ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 5 years experience as a perioperative / operating room / operating theatre scrub nurse
HET experience
DESIRED EXPERIENCE: 5 years experience in field of specialist discipline
