Educator – Pre-Primary School
A Midrand based Pre-Primary School seeks to appoint an energetic, motivated and passionate Senior Educator to join our team. The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, inter alia, the managing of a team of Educators, engaging with parents, chairing meetings, record keeping, Class Teaching and implementing innovative teaching strategies across all Grades.
The ideal candidate must:
- Have a relevant teaching degree from a recognised Tertiary Institution;
- Be highly motivated, energetic and enthusiastic;
- Have excellent verbal and written English communication skills;
- Be able to fully integrate technology into their teaching on platforms such as Classflow, Google Class and Zoom;
- Be a passionate, dynamic, caring and innovative
- Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the Cambridge Curriculum expectations for the relevant Phase and a determined passion for personal and continuous development in pedagogical and professional competencies and ethics;
- Be prepared to work according to the School’s ethos, specifications and policies;
- Be available in the afternoons, evenings and at other times to attend workshops, courses, school functions and educational duties and tours
- Be registered with SACE (the South African Council for Educators) (proof of registration required)
- Be in possession of a current Police Clearance Certificate.
