Reporting to the General Manager Marketing  you will be required to have good Business Acumen, Keep the business informed of new trends, innovative ideas for social media channel, Ensure relevant content is published, for the right channel and timing, Ensure that all KPI’s are met in the relevant timeframe , Campaigns should be run efficiently and all requirements met to ensure a successful campaign.
Specific Experience Required
- Matric / B degree in Communication or Marketing
- 3 - 5 years relevant social media platform experience
- Track record of successful social media campaigns / Experience in graphic design - desirable
- Broad understanding/experience of marketing in B2B & B2C environment required. Must be able to multi-task and feedback at any given time on various projects.
- Very good understanding of social media and networks / Knowledge of Google Analytics and related analytics platforms - desirable
- Understand how different markets impact on digital marketing strategy / Understanding the impact of visual aesthetics  / Business acumen
Your busy and challenging day will include?Â
- Reporting to the General Manager Marketing, the incumbent will be responsible for both brands with duties as follows:
- ONLINE REPUTATION MANAGEMENT
- Access system, analyse data and determine where responses are required daily.
- Make recommendations and implement.
- Report system errors or enhancements to service provider.
- Log all negative responses, resolve/escalate responses to the relevant departments/authority within 2 hours.
- Compile weekly contact report and forward to GM Marketing
- MANAGE ONLINE CONVERSATION
- Monitor on-line brand conversations and respond appropriately (with influence) if required.
- Interactions to reflect accurate information relating to the  products and services.
- Ensure that they have an on-line presence on identified social media websites (Range:Â Facebook, Twitter, Google+. Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn).
- Provide a dashboard that contains all conversation feedback and update weekly.
- Provide a dashboard for social media growth aligned to the social media strategy
- QUERY RESOLUTION
- Follow escalation procedures to escalate queries to relevant departments
- Respond to complainant timeously and keep them updated with relevant feedback
- Close all queries to ensure engagement rating is not affected.
- CAMPAIGNS
- Collaborate with Marketing team to identify marketing campaigns and opportunies
- Liaise with Brand Managers, E-Marketing Manager and Digital Agencies to identify on-line marketing opportunies
- Manage social media campaigns as per plan and report on outcomes.
- Manage social media competitions
- Ensure approaches to social media are relevant and appropriate for each medium
- Research and implement best practice
- Research and implement social media campaigns
- Initiate social media competitions
- CREATING AND EDITING SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT
- Implement content plans to update social media content daily. Build and maintain relationships with Digital agency Brand manager to ensure alignment to digital strategy

- Drive revenue via the booking engine on Facebook and other social media channels.Â
- Drive revenue through promotions communicated via the social media channels
