We are looking for creatives who have a great eye for stunning visual design and excel at taking scripts and concepts and turning them into clever and intuitive eLearning courses.
Job requirements:
- You must be hands on, responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within a fast-paced, open and collaborative environment.
- As an eLearning Designer, you’ll enjoy technical and conceptual challenges, so having a positive, proactive and out-the-box approach to problem-solving, research and learning is essential.
- High competency in Graphic Design, Vector Illustration, and Image Manipulation using Adobe design programs such as Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign (compulsory requirement).
- Experience producing motion graphics and animations using After Effects.
- Excellent conceptual abilities, with an eye for important detail.
- Ability to produce functional designs where every element enhances rather than detracts from the learning objective.
- Must have good layout skills and the ability to design other digital and print media, such as posters, flyers, banners, catalogues and newsletters when necessary.
- Excellent organisational, time management and communication skills.
- Keen sense of how businesses and people work.
- An appreciation for how people learn and engage with various training media.
- Fun, proactive and participatory attitude.
- Eager to learn new skills, experiment and share with others.
- Able to multitask and work under pressure.
- eLearning experience using Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline or similar products; Web development and design experience: HTML, CSS, JS, etc. (beneficial)
- Ability to write informative and impactful learning material in the form of scripts and storyboards.
- Videography or film production and post-production experience
- Photography
- Animation (including After Effects) proficiency
- Audio recording and editing
- Tertiary graphic/digital media design qualification required.
- Work experience in eLearning or creative industries preferred.
Job responsibilities:
- Instructional Design and Storyboarding of eLearning courses from a script and other material provided.
- Conceptualising new designs and user interactions that are both functional and user-friendly.
- Designing and developing engaging eLearning solutions using Adobe Captivate and other software.
- Designing and developing creative content in the form of images, motion graphics, print media, videos and/or animations.
- Capturing and editing program simulations for systems training design.
- Staying up-to-date with latest design and eLearning methods, trends and software.
