Electrician is required in Pinetown to be responsible for the execution of all electrical maintenance/breakdown requirements to all equipment to ensure good running equipment for maximum reliability and availability.
Job responsibilities:
- Effectively maintain equipment through planned maintenance methodology to minimize downtime.
- Promptly attend to equipment breakdowns to ensure production efficiency is not compromised.
- Execute fault finding on equipment to rectify and prevent future breakdown occurrences.
- Ensure statutory requirements are met and complied with at all times, eg. Safety procedures, this includes but not limited to how work permits, work safe procedures, etc.
- Do daily running checks to ensure that any irregularities are picked up promptly.
- Attend to job card diligently and submit all completed jobs for reporting purposes.
- Ensure that the required maintenance is reported and carried out within specified time.
- Ensure machine and equipment is left clean to required standards at all times when maintenance work is completed.
Job requirements:
- Senior certificate (Grade 12)
- Electrical Trade tested
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Electrical fault finding
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience with DC/ AC drives and PLCs.
- Other skills required and personal attributes:

- Be able to speak English and understand fluently
