Electronics Technician
Electronics Technician to ensures that all electronic equipment and related software is maintained and conforms to standards to provide maximum availability, efficiency and reliability in the safest and most cost effective manner so that production is maximised and downtime is minimised.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains all electronic equipment in the mill
Calibrate electronic measuring equipment to ISO 9001 quality standard
Repairs electronic instrumentation
Maintains Siemens PLC (S7 & S5), ABB and Siemens Drives, Siemens DCS systems
Compile procedures and works instructions
Fault finding and repair of electronic systems to card level

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
- Matric and N6 Electronics / Diploma Electrical Engineering (Light Current or Heavy Current)
- Code 08 Drivers Licence
- Three 3 years Siemens S7 and S5 PLC Programming
