The incumbent will collaborate with management to develop and implement initiatives aimed at optimizing organisational effectiveness, employee engagement and retention. The role will be focused on designing and delivering internal people experience, and workplace environment strategy.
Key Performance Areas
Recruitment and Onboarding
- Establish a talent scouting and recruitment strategy by sourcing and building relationships with candidates to ensure the organisational talent pipeline matches the operational requirements of the organisation
- Coordinate recruiting events to raise awareness for the company and attract new talent.
- Manage all recruitment needs for the companys capabilities, including implementing and continually developing a robust recruitment process.
- Overseeing the day-to-day management of the recruitment process, including reviewing job descriptions, website advertising, updating of the company resource plan, sifting and selection of CVs, attending interviews and selecting candidates.
- Onboarding of all new staff members and continuously improving the onboarding process specific to the firm.
- Assist in defining the company culture based on employee experiences and feedback.
- Assess the impact that people practices and policies have on the employee experience and use data to understand and identify improvement opportunities.
- With the support of Managers and Partners identify key talent within the organisation and ensure they are retained within the organisation and their talents are developed and fully realised.
- With Line Managers and Partners nurture potential leaders by providing them with the right development tools and growth opportunities to ensure they that can advance their career within the organisation.
- Have a comprehensive understanding of current employees strengths and capabilities and act as an advisor to management on the placement of employees into new roles and/or projects.
- Provide motivation and highlight to management when and where compensation interventions are necessary outside the defined compensation norms of the firms capabilities.
- Passionately own and motivate for staff wellness as a priority within the business.
- Designing and delivering internal events calendar, people experience, and workplace environment strategy.
- Drive initiatives which create employee loyalty and related ownership of the firms brand and company.
- Act as an exemplary coach and sounding board to the Partners and Managers.
- Demonstrates influence and credibility with leaders across the business.
- Look after employees to create a workplace that increases individual wellbeing, a sense of belonging, and organizational effectiveness.
- Responsible for delivering various events throughout the year to align employees around the firms mission and purpose, including team building and mid and year end events.
- Drive social and corporate events calendar with support from the social committee to plan and deliver fun times and feel-good vibes.
- Identify and meet experiential needs: Making sure employees feel loved on a daily basis, from the mundane to the big milestones.
- Maintain relevant and engaging office communication channels.
- Working closely with the HR Partner, you will collaborate to design workplace experience to drive better outcomes for employees and the business from employee engagement and productivity to talent retention.
- Responsible for ensuring that companywide activities impacting employees are well coordinated, recorded and creatively communicated to the relevant audiences.
