Employee Engagement Officer

In this pivotal role, you will craft and execute innovative strategies while collaborating with diverse teams to deploy employee engagement initiatives that make a meaningful impact throughout our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employee Engagement Strategies:
  • Develop and roll out comprehensive employee engagement strategies and programs to enhance satisfaction and reduce turnover.
  • Oversee the execution and ongoing evaluation of engagement programs to ensure their success.
Survey and Feedback Analysis:
  • Design and conduct employee surveys to gauge engagement levels and collect feedback.
  • Analyze survey results and provide actionable insights to management for continuous improvement.
  • Conduct exit interviews to identify trends and contribute to retention discussions.
Training and Development:
  • Assist managers in nurturing a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Develop and implement effective onboarding plans.
  • Monitor and report on key engagement metrics to stakeholders.
Employee Recognition Programs:
  • Develop and manage employee recognition programs that celebrate achievements and boost morale.
Diversity and Inclusion:
  • Champion a diverse and inclusive workplace by supporting initiatives that honour various backgrounds and perspectives.
  • Collaborate with diversity and inclusion teams to integrate inclusive practices into engagement strategies.
Qualifications
  • Matric with a degree or diploma in HR or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years experience as an Employee Engagement Officer, with a proven track record in creating and executing engagement strategies that enhance business operations.
  • Experience in planning and organizing employee events to strengthen employee culture, ideally within a call centre environment.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office with prior working experience in data analysis and HR metrics.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with HR software and best practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of EE, BCEA, LRA, and HR strategies.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while effectively managing the engagement portfolio.
