Employment Coordinator

Responsibilities

Our client is seeking to appoint a motivated and seasoned candidate in the position of Employment Coordinator. Key Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
  • Coordinate and implement all systems, processes and procedures relevant to recruitment and selection, induction and orientation, job evaluation and termination of services.
  • Compile and submit monthly, quarterly and annual compliance reports.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of compliant HR-related policies and procedures.
  • Assist with preparation for and during the annual audits
  • Monitor and report on the recruitment budget.
  • Contribute to risk management by alerting the human resources manager to any areas of potential risk that require mitigation.
Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge:

  • Relevant 3-year tertiary qualification with either specialization in HR management/industrial psychology or social science
  • Minimum 4 years experience as a business partner or HR generalist in the professional stream within a large organization
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office 365 at intermediary level
  • Proof required of valid drivers license
  • Ability to manage and mitigate employment related risks
  • Ability to record information accurately
  • Ability to work in a team as well as independently
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders
  • Knowledge of the procurement process
  • Ability to keep abreast of HR-related legislation, regulations, codes and best practice to enable effective compliance
