Our client is seeking to appoint a motivated and seasoned candidate in the position of Employment Coordinator. Key Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
- Coordinate and implement all systems, processes and procedures relevant to recruitment and selection, induction and orientation, job evaluation and termination of services.
- Compile and submit monthly, quarterly and annual compliance reports.
- Assist with the development and implementation of compliant HR-related policies and procedures.
- Assist with preparation for and during the annual audits
- Monitor and report on the recruitment budget.
- Contribute to risk management by alerting the human resources manager to any areas of potential risk that require mitigation.
- Relevant 3-year tertiary qualification with either specialization in HR management/industrial psychology or social science
- Minimum 4 years experience as a business partner or HR generalist in the professional stream within a large organization
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office 365 at intermediary level
- Proof required of valid drivers license
- Ability to manage and mitigate employment related risks
- Ability to record information accurately
- Ability to work in a team as well as independently
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders
- Knowledge of the procurement process
- Ability to keep abreast of HR-related legislation, regulations, codes and best practice to enable effective compliance
