Responsibilities
- Design and implement energy-saving measures for utilities such as boilers, cooling towers, and chillers.
- Develop and manage projects related to Waste to Energy Technologies, including anaerobic digestion, CHP, and incineration.
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of solar power plants and other decarbonisation initiatives.
- Utilize Google Workspace tools and other cloud computing solutions to enhance project efficiency and collaboration.
- Analyse energy consumption data to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend solutions.
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive energy efficiency and sustainability goals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Engineering Degree/Diploma in Process, Mechanical/Mechatronic, Industrial Engineering, or a similar relevant qualification.
- 5 to 7 years of experience as a Design, Industrial, or Production Engineer, with a focus on utilities and energy-saving measures.
- Strong understanding of Waste to Energy Technologies (Anaerobic Digestion, CHP, Incineration), solar power plants, and other decarbonisation initiatives.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace tools and experience with cloud computing platforms such as DocuSign.
- ECSA Registration as a Professional Engineer would be an advantage.
- Demonstrated experience in energy efficiency and sustainability projects.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in energy management.
- Experience in project management and leadership roles.
