We are currently seeking to employ a qualified candidate for the position of Renewables Engineer Intern (or the Candidate) for Technical Services under Renewables, Energy Systems to be based in Cape Town, South Africa.
As part of DNVs Renewables MEA Section in the SEMELA region, the Candidate will work along with other technical professionals in the Energy Systems group to provide technical consulting services and support business development activities. The 6 months duration internship will focus on 3 main areas which will be discussed & agreed with candidate.

As an intern in this role, you will be responsible for supporting various project management activities, ensuring the smooth execution of projects, and contributing to their successful completion. As an intern in this role, you will provide support to the bid management team, assisting in the preparation and submission of proposals for renewable advisory services. About You
- Master / bachelors in Renewable Energy, Electrical, Mechanical, Mathematical, Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university.
- Strong interest in renewable energy technologies and sustainable development.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical data and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, MATLAB, or Python, is a plus.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
