Role Responsibilities
- Monitor progress and quality of work on site is in line with Project Specifications and the approved Programme.
- Provide support documentation for Technical & Contract Site Meetings within 3 working days of the meeting.
- Undertake measurements for Contractor Payment Certificates and keep accurate site records monthly.
- Evaluate Contractors Claims for extension of time and cost and provide comment to the Employers Agent.
- Attend to site queries within 48 hours and escalate relevant queries to the Employers Agent.
- Evaluate and comment on Contractors Programmes, Cashflows & Catch-up Plans within 2 days.
- Prepare Weekly Site Reports before close of business on Mondays.
- Follow up on the Contractor's Close-out Reports for findings on H&S and Environmental Audits
- BTech/BSc/BEng in a Civil Engineering discipline is required.
- Unregistered Engineer or Technologist with a minimum of 10 years OR an ECSA registered Engineer or Technologist with a minimum of 5 years site experience with defined exposure in dealing with medium to largescale projects.
- isiXhosa language proficiency would be advantageous however is not a mandatory requirement for the role.
