Reporting to the Product Design Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Support experienced engineers across different roles, including Electrical Engineering, Project Engineering, Commissioning Engineering, and Service Engineering, in their day-to-day activities and project deliverables.
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of BESS components and systems, under the guidance of experienced engineers.
- Participate in field activities, such as site visits and installations, to gain practical knowledge and understanding of BESS systems in real-world settings.
- Collaborate with the engineering team in conducting technical analyses, feasibility studies, and performance evaluations of BESS projects.
- Assist in the preparation of engineering documentation, including specifications, drawings, technical reports, and proposals.
- Support engineers in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues related to BESS components, systems, and equipment, utilizing diagnostic tools and test equipment.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes, methodologies, and best practices within the organization.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in BESS systems, participating in training programs and professional development opportunities.
- Assist in the coordination and communication with internal teams, external stakeholders, and suppliers to ensure effective project execution and timely resolution of technical issues.
- Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations, following safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to support research and development initiatives, exploring innovative solutions and technologies in the BESS field.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the engineering team or management.
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong interest in renewable energy, energy storage, and battery technologies, with a desire to contribute to the clean energy transition.
- Basic understanding of engineering principles, concepts, and methodologies, with a focus on electrical or mechanical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and propose innovative solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Enthusiasm for learning, self-motivation, and a proactive approach to acquiring new skills and knowledge.
- Proficiency in using engineering software, computer-aided design (CAD) tools, and Microsoft Office suite.
