Hire Resolve's client is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to join their Mining team in the Northern Cape for a 3-year project. As the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all engineering activities to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the mine.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all engineering activities within the mining operation
- Develop and implement engineering strategies to optimize productivity and cost-efficiency
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Manage the maintenance and repair of mining equipment
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
- Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team
- Prepare and manage engineering budgets
- Grade 12
- National Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- GCC Mines and Works qualification
- 10 years' experience in a similar role within the mining industry
- 5 years' opencast mining experience
- Extensive experience in Earth Moving Equipment
- Salary: Negotiable
