HSE Manager Middle East & Africa

The Health, Safety & Environment department is focused on making the world a better place today and also on protecting it for future generations. We are looking for a Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Manager, to be part of the team, working together to achieve our global targets, working locally, thinking globally and with a high autonomy in his/her daily tasks. Responsibilities

• Actively support and drive the "zero incident culture"
• Implement, improve and maintain Vestas Management System (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001)
• Define and implement local HSE action plans, aligned with Regional & Global Strategy
• Drive a talented HSE organization in South Africa & Kenya.
• Support business on growth potential

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience in similar position
• Master degree on HSE area will be an asset
• Good English skills
• International exposure is essential
• Expert in national and international HSE legislation

Competencies

• Effective communication skills at all levels of the organization
• Ability to supervise a remote team
• Flexibility to travel (domestic & international)
• Soft skills to manage a diverse & remote team
