Environmental Scientist

An established environmental management and test laboratory is seeking a newly graduated Environmental Intern to conduct Environmental Impact and Management Assessments, focusing on water quality and dust fallout monitoring, including the drafting of technical, regulatory, and related documents, achieved through research, analysis, or fieldwork.

Minimum Requirements For The Role

• Must have a Tertiary Qualification in Environmental Sciences or equivalent
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Strong scientific reasoning skills with excellent scientific report writing abilities will be required
• Must have effective communication skills.
• Strong administrative skills are important

The Successful Candidate Will Be Responsible For

• Performing scientific functions including maintaining Data Tables and Statistical Tables.
• Generating and maintaining Site Reports, Sampling Registers, and Analytical Test Reports for larger quarterly, bi-annual, and annual reports.
• Conducting dust fallout reporting.
• Handling occupational hygiene reporting through swabs.
• Compiling short Monthly Information Reports on water quality.
