Researcher: Climate Change and Inequality (Grant Funded 24-month contract)

Brief Description

Requirements
  • Research experience in development economics and industrial policy as well as knowledge of theoretical and empirical debates around climate justice and the economy.
  • At least a Masters degree in economic development is required for this appointment.
  • A proven track record of research with at least 3 years of experience working in an economic/industrial policy research at an academic institution.
  • Demonstrable experience designing, implementing and managing research projects.
  • Excellent research skills with proven ability to produce accredited publications, with evidence of published research on economic/industrial policy.
  • Very motivated and able to work with limited supervision.
This is an academic position in a small but highly-motivated research centre, based in the Faculty of Commerce, Law and Management. It has an attractive remuneration package and conditions of service. This 24-month grant-funded post may be extended depending on available funding.
