An estate located on the Hartbeespoort Dam shoreline seeks to appoint top class estate manager with exceptional leadership and managerial skills, to manage a high-end estate with a working farm, extensive recreational facilities, complex infrastructure and a significant work force.
Job requirements:
- The estate manager is to be in possession of an industry related qualification or tertiary qualification, in either engineering, architecture or business.
- Several years' experience as an estate manager or as a trustee in a similar premier estate.
- A knowledge of current legislation and governance structures pertaining to estates is essential.
Job responsibilities:
- The estate manager will report to the board of directors.
- Responsibile for the management of staff and contractors.
- Governance, participation and secretarial support for the board and its sub committees.
- Financial and administration management.
- Management of security.
- Management of farming operations.
- Management of gardening, facilities and maintenance.
- Handling communications to both staff and members of the homeowners association.
- Active participation in home owners association and local policing bodies.
