Provide support and coordinate events based on internal and external stakeholder requirements.
Requirements
- Matric
- Diploma in Events management
- 2 years experience in events coordination
- Contribute to high quality event execution with a focus on the stakeholder experience
- Liaise with stakeholders in order to obtain event requirements and support event planning and coordination process.
- Coordinate the logistics (venue hire, transport, catering etc.) and communications (save the date, invitations, teasers etc.) of events
- Coordinate and manage service providers and vendors to successfully deliver on the event brief.
- Secure and prepare sponsorships, speakers, participants, etc. for specific events in line with the event brief.
- Assist with the event promotional activities and development of event collateral by coordinating and communicating with relevant stakeholders.
- Control and coordinate the RSVP management and registration of participants.
- Liaise with various branding, marketing and communications team to promote the event.
- Manage the event set up, tear down and follow-ups.
- Provide on-site event support to ensure the event runs smoothly.
- Conduct final inspections on the day of the event to ensure everything adheres to the agreed upon standards.
- Implementation of standardised events procedures to deliver high quality events and activations.
- Deliver events within the agreed events budget, time and quality parameters.
- Track and control event expenses and coordinate the financial administration for the event.
- Together with the Events and Activations Manager, assess an events overall success and submit findings.
- Perform post-event evaluations and produce impact reports for events stakeholders.
