Job purpose
To manage the Functions Team regarding quality of work, productivity, motivation and discipline. To accurately and efficiently process sales orders. This includes showing a helpful and friendly demeaner when interacting with customers and to offer assistance in product and service advice.
Responsibilities
- To monitor and feedback team and individual performance to senior management.
- To set an example and motivate the company culture to the team.
- To ensure that the high standards of Norman Goodfellows customer service is maintained by efficiently, accurately and timeously prioritize and process sales orders, quotes etc.
- To communicate with all other departments effectively and proactively and to provide outstanding service to internal customers from other departments who are relying on the quality of your work to effectively service the external customer.
- To stand in as Manager: Telesales when needed.
- To continually improve your product knowledge.
- To assist with mentoring and training of Telesales Operators as required daily.
- To abide by the departments code of conduct and standard operating procedures.
- Grade 12
- 2 3 years' experience as an event coordinator
- Well-organized and must have strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and excellent multi-tasking abilities
- Customer service
- Must be approachable and suitably qualified to carry out respective responsibilities with a minimum of a Matric certificate, further qualifications.
