Requirements
Experience and Qualifications
- Post-graduate degree in Psychology or related Human Capital field
- 8-10 years HC business consulting experience on a senior level
- A deep understanding of HC principles and practices and human behaviour
- Sound experience of Strategy formulation, Culture embedding, Talent Retention & Succession and key Organisational development practices
- Registered with Health Profession Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Psychometrist or Industrial Psychologist advantageous
INTERNAL PROCESS
- Develop and apply the full HC value chain, integrated and systemic approach to deliver strategic people solutions which align with the business purpose, ambition and strategic objectives, encompassing all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from talent attraction, learning and development to succession planning, total reward, organisational effectiveness, employee wellness, transformation, recognition, performance management, and employee retention.
- Influence and lead the design and development of comprehensive HC, strategies practices, policies, projects and interventions across the business ensuring a holistic approach which considers organisational development, culture, and employee experience, while aligning with business priorities.
- Foster strategic partnerships with business leaders to deeply understand their priorities and requirements, aligning HC strategies accordingly to facilitate effective collaboration shared understanding and excellent execution.
- Provide a clear and consistent HC partnering value proposition that is aligned to and forms an integral part of the organisation's strategic intent, emphasising the importance of HC involvement and integration in achieving business goals.
- Design, develop and oversee the execution of leadership development initiatives at different levels of leadership creating a shared leadership language and behaviours for the business.
- Coaching and business consulting to senior leaders and colleagues to enable sustainable delivery of the business strategy.
- Provide insights and input into crafting and enhancing a competitive Employee Value Proposition (EVP) to ensure a holistic employee experience based on business priorities, feedback and people trends in the division.
- Provide advice and guidance on complex HC challenges to effectively support the business and manage people risk.
- Drive the implementation of innovative HC solutions aimed at managing organisational change, engaging employees, increasing organisational effectiveness and strategically managing talent.
- Develop Employment Equity and Skills Development strategies in partnership with relevant stakeholders in line with the businesss transformation objectives.
- Influence and drive the Employment Equity agenda at an executive level to achieve targets and objectives.
- Ensure all people-related deliverables are executed within timelines and contribute to meeting business needs while also aligning with Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE) goals to support the organisation's BBBEE scorecard.
- Oversee the development and application of HC metrics to measure the impact and successful implementation of HC solutions.
- Provide leaders with HC insights using metrics to improve business decisions.
- Design, develop and embed an enabling culture which focuses on people strategies and promote employee engagement.
- Participate in relevant committees and forums (i.e., BU Exco, Group Exco, Group Risk Stratco, Group HC Exco etc.).
- Evaluate the return on investment of HC solutions and drive the enhancement of HC solutions and service delivery.
- Drive data integrity standards for HC data and ensure HC governance practices are adhered to, establishing reliable and accurate HC data for effective decision-making and reporting.
- Oversee the compilation of HC scorecards, monthly reports, and other related metrics as required, providing insights into HC performance and contributing to data-driven decision-making.
- Evaluate the return on investment of HC solutions and drive the enhancement of HC solutions and service delivery, ensuring HC initiatives deliver measurable value and are continuously improved for optimal impact.
- Provide input and guidance to influence business strategy and building a sustainable business for the future.
- Responsible for all internal events that impact culture, engagement, leadership excellence and employee experience.
- Drive and/or influence strategic business projects that impact efficiency such as LEAN, client experience, culture, organisational design and structure alignment.
- Build and maintain effective business relationships with all key stakeholders through regular interactions, fostering strong partnerships and collaboration across the organisation.
- Act as a trusted coach and advisor to business leaders on HC related issues, providing valuable insights and guidance to support informed decision-making and improved HC practices.
- Cultivate an enabling culture consistent with the organisations vision, purpose, and values, emphasising employee engagement and satisfaction as a fundamental element of the company's success.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives, including impactful internal communications and internal events, to enhance the employee experience and foster a positive work environment.
- Stay updated on trends, legislation, and best practices in the HC industry, streamlining the function and ensuring compliance with current and effective practices that support business needs.
- Assess HC service delivery through regular interactions with stakeholders, evaluating effectiveness, and identifying areas for improvement to enhance service delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Parter with key business stakeholders to ensure the enhancement of a superior client experience strategy for Momentum Corporate. Translating a positive Employee Experience into a memorable Client Experience.
- Drive an enabling culture that fosters inclusivity, entrepreneurial thinking and prioritising the human experience for Momentum Corporate.
- Champion an enabling culture that focuses on the employee experience as the most promising competitive advantage the organisation can create, ensuring that all initiatives contribute to cultivating high engagement and performance to achieve the organisations purpose and strategy.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on complex HC issues to effectively support the business and manage people risk, ensuring informed, compliant, and goal-aligned HC decisions.
- Provide ongoing coaching to managers and team and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure fair and consistent remuneration and rewards programs, as well as establish career paths and talent succession plans for leadership and key roles.
- Demonstrate exemplary leadership behaviour, through personal involvement, commitment and dedication in support of organisational values.
- Select and recruit suitably qualified talent in line with Employment Equity principles and MMH values.
- Effectively manage the HC budget, aligning it with the business and people strategy to ensure optimal utilisation of resources and support strategic objectives.
- Optimally utilise the budget for area, including the authorisation of expenditures and implementation of financial regulations.
- Manage high risk and problematic financial issues in area of accountability and contribute to the development of policy.
- Identify solutions to enhance cost effectiveness and increase operational efficiency.
- Implement and manage financial risk methodologies, techniques and systems and use to monitor and report on financial activities.
