The Sanlam Trust business offers professional Fiduciary Services to the South African market. We provide expert management of deceased solvent estates and living and testamentary trusts.
The successful incumbent will be employed by Sanlam Trust, a subsidiary of Capital Legacy.
What will you do?
- Strategic positioning of the business area for the immediate
- Lead, manage and implement plans and assess the business performance against targets and objectives
- Collaborate with various stakeholders
- Manage the financial discipline of the division as it relates to budgets, business targets and performance.
- Provide strategic leadership and people management within Sanlam Legacy
- Identify, mitigate, implement, and manage controls as it relates to risk and compliance for the business area
- To stay abreast of all regulatory and industry changes relating to the Fiduciary landscape.
Qualification & experience
- Commercial/Financial or business-related degree/diploma
- Extensive financial services experience in marketing/sales environment
- Experience in SanlamConnect at a Business Manager level will be advantageous
- Experience of SanlamConnects businesses; processes and procedures will be a strong recommendation
- Understanding of Fiduciary Services
- Sales and Operational Management/Leadership of a team/unit

- Relevant regulatory legislation and compliance knowledge (FAIS accredited)
