Industrial Pump Company seeks an external sales representative with minimum 5 years’ experience in a professional sales environment with a proven track record and engineering background.
Job requirements:
- We are looking for a strong hunter to bring in new business through cold calling and to build relationships with clients to secure repeat business.
- Must be target driven and able to turn leads into business.
- Person applying must be able to develop and seek new business, forge and sustain good relations with clients as well as retaining new and existing business.
- Must be fluent in Afrikaans/English.
- Matric, own transport and proven sales track record on payslips .

- Designing of pumping systems for mining and industrial sectors
- Tendering Expediting Annual budget compiling and reporting
- New Pump, Reconditioning and Parts sales
- New Pump Applications
- Operational Troubleshooting
- Liaising with project managers, workshop and internal staff
- Technical Assistance, operational troubleshooting
- Service both existing and prospective customers
- Develop effective proposals and quotations
- General sales responsibilities - Orders, Invoices, POD
