Requirements
- Experienced (5 years+) sales and marketing consultant required.
- Proven track record.
- Marketing Qualification/experience.
- Comprehensive understanding and working knowledge of the Event coordination field, including social media, content marketing and direct marketing.
- Ability to address both mid and senior-level clients with confidence.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to handle objections and close deals.
- Determine the target audience.
- Conduct research to understand client and business needs.
- Source and maintain new clients/leads.
- Creative ability to generate campaign ideas.
- Personable with great communication skills.
- Excellent writing skills the ability to express ideas, with correct grammar and punctuation.
- Attention to detail.
- Team player whilst achieving and driving sales targets.
- You must be able to work unsupervised and according to a daily milestones management process.
- The position entails selling Retainer base space as well as new product sales in the event industry.
- New business development cold calling, lead generation and telephonic sales closing.
- Key Account management.
- Stats report writing and analysis.
- Chasing targets not negotiable.
- Tracking leads, sales CRM.
- Running meetings and presentations.
