Fabricator

About our client: A well established Motorhome manufacturer based in Atlantis, Western Cape, seek to employ a

Fabricator to start duties asap.

The Package

R 15 000.00 to R 18 000.00 Basic

Provident Fund after 6 months of employment - Employer = 8 % contribution & 7.5 % contribution.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 8 years experience in the fabrication workmanship trade or similar.
• Relevant Tertiary qualifications in a Technical Field, Boilermaker etc
• Developed technical application skills and a technical insight mind set.
• The individual should be a person that can think ahead and plan how the product can be manufactured to high standards and ensure proper fitment in the end.
• Must be proficient in handling hand tools, power tools, spray painting tools, welding tools and measuring tools.
• Skilled to work with a wide range of materials, some of which are : Solid wood, plywood, aluminium, steel upholstery, plastics etc.

Duties will include, but not be limited to the following :

• To use fabrication skills, technical manufacturing knowledge and the ability to work from drawings or sketches

to create, assemble and build the complete motorhome, caravan, trailer or other products.

• To be capable and responsible to manufacture, place and fit all interior and exterior equipment, cupboards,

walls and other items of work to be installed in a motorhome according to the design as laid down by

management and or customer specifications or ideas.

• The employee has to manufacture, ensure proper fitment and place all his work as to the quality specifications

and standards as laid down by management, designer or direct superior.

• The employee is expected to work together with other employees as a team and to work as a team in good

spirit.
