A position has become available for a factory production manager at a state of the art cleanroom cosmetic manufacturing company with the production capacity of 90’000 units per day, company is based just outside of Ballito.
Job responsibilities:
- Organize and solve issues that may arise to ensure a smooth efficient production is maintained.
- Control the workshop hours as per required to meet the timeframes.
- Liaise with all necessary parties.
- Organize machinery and vehicle maintenance, servicing and repairs to maintain the continuous operation of the factory.
- Manufacturing of products.
- Maintain our safety procedure systems.
- Planning and organizing production systems.
- Ensure that health and safety regulations are met.
- Selecting, ordering and purchasing of raw materials.
Job requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel.
- Proven management skills.
- A very “hands on” person.
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask and handle priorities simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Basic knowledge of ISO and production costing.
