• Oversee all aspects of macadamia production: From orchard management and harvesting to post-harvest handling and quality control, you'll be the maestro of the operation.
• Maximize yields: Leverage your 5 plus years of experience within the agriculture industry to implement best practices, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions that ensure optimal crop performance.
• Resource management: Effectively allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and budgets, to achieve production goals efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Team player: Lead and motivate your team, providing training, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Technology champion: Embrace innovative technologies and practices to enhance operational efficiency and quality control.
• Sustainability focus: Contribute to sustainable farming practices, ensuring environmental responsibility throughout the production process.

Cultivate Your Success:

• Essential:
• Relevant tertiary qualification in agriculture or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a production management role within the agriculture industry, preferably with macadamia experience.
• Strong understanding of macadamia cultivation and best practices.
• Proven track record of achieving production goals and exceeding targets.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Desirable:
• Proficiency in agricultural software applications.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methods.
• Knowledge of relevant agricultural legislation and regulations.
