Site Supervisor to manage civil workforce on site and work on fibre implementation porojects.To monitor, control,organise,plan and install all civil aspects including the opening of trenches,duct installation,padding,re-instatement of roads and verges.
To ensure the build lines are according to site specifications and fibre striinging is done according to plan.To communicate the planned works to staff under his control.Record proof of correct installations by taking photos. Pro-actively identify and solve problems.
Ensure that all team members comply with Health, Environmental(SHEQ) best practices.Ensure that all team members are issued with and use correct personal protective equipment(PPE)
Ensure that daily attendance registers are filled out. Correct snags(deficiencies) as required and directed.
Manage the daily activities of all resources making sure that the agreed daily targets,deliverables,milestones and deadlines are met by each person working on the site.
Administration and preparation of reports as required by the employer.
Ensure that all project assets including trenching equipment are clean and used correctly.
Must have:
Extensive technical civil fiber installation experience
Able to travel-Code EB or higher driver's license
Must have problem solving attitude
Undersatanding of municipal infrastreucture and road construction.
