To plan, coordinate, execute and implement strategic processes of promoting and advertising the facilitys rehabilitation services. The incumbent is responsible for building relationships with external partners to increase visibility, brand awareness and admissions targets.
Minimum Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy/ Occupational Therapy/ Nursing.
- 3-5 years relevant work experience required.
- ICD-10 Coding proficiency.
- Computer proficiency.
- Develop patient recruitment strategies for the facility and implement relevant campaigns that enhances the Hospitals brand and increases community awareness.
- Develop a field admissions plan to meet monthly, quarterly and annual growth targets.
- Ensure the hospitals admissions targets and goals are met and within approved budgets.
- Plan, coordinate and execute community outreach initiatives such as health fairs, wellness checks and caregiver support groups.
- Conduct regular marketing calls and visits to relevant practices or healthcare institutions with the aim of increasing the overall number of referrals and admissions.
- Conduct regular visits with physicians, healthcare providers regarding the facilitys rehabilitation services.
- Facilitates admissions decisions (in collaboration with Therapy and Hospital manager) and ensures positive admissions experience for customers, caregivers and families.
- Drives patient recruitment programmes for the rehabilitation programme.
- Implement, monitor and control field admissions processes according to quality standards, policy, and compliance and governance requirements.
- Ensure the development, alignment, mapping and implementation of end-to-end standard operating procedures/ processes for the field admissions sub-function.
- Research, enable and consult on improvements and opportunities to harness technology in recruiting for patients or building long lasting relations with external referral sources.
- Review existing processes and suggest innovative ideas to improve and streamline processes to drive efficiencies and minimise redundancy.
