FIELD MARKETING ASSISTANT
The Field Marketing Assistant is responsible for supporting the marketing and communications function and delivering day-to-day marketing activities across the region; working closely with the demand team to develop and execute marketing campaigns and programs that increase Apex Groups brand awareness at a local level and build pipeline across the region.
Alongside the broader marketing team, you will be a key point of contact for the region, collaborating closely with local the Regional Managing Director, local Country Heads, and sales team and reporting to the Demand Marketing Manager, to design, build, execute, and measure multi-channel marketing campaigns and various projects and to identify new areas of potential growth.
Key Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Represent all marketing functions in the responsible region. Feed regional requirements into broader marketing team, i.e., business card, brand request, HR request and regional webpage updates, etc.; train the local teams to get familiar with marketing tools, i.e., Qumu, Seismic, Oktopost, etc.
- Be the day-to-day contact and liaison from the marketing team, linking the region into Group marketing and supporting growth needs by working closely with the Demand Marketer to align activities with revenue objectives.
- Understand the global, regional and local strategies to support demand generation programs by working closely with demand marketing.
- Be able to adapt and tailor top level strategic global marketing campaigns to be suitable for the responsible region and respective countries.
- Work with the Portfolio marketing team to support with the promotion of key products into local markets.
- Work closely with the brand and comms team to ensure advertising and brand awareness activities across region are impactful and on message.
- Feed local objectives and sales campaigns back into the marketing team to ensure alignment and leverage revenue opportunities and marketings ability to contribute.
- Identify opportunities within local client segments for cross-sell and up-sell and work with the client marketing manager to execute.
- Feed content ideas into the central comms team to ensure local topics are covered in the content production process and big pieces of content are repurposed as required for campaigns and programs.
- Take part in the campaign planning process with the campaign team; including portfolio marketing, content marketing, demand marketing and marketing ops to ensure a consistent and well-planned approach to execution.
- Support the Events Manager with local delivery and act as primary contact for local vendors including support with logistics and delivering, branded goods, collateral and content, banners and booth setup etc.
- Provide insights into the best places to advertise and manage local relationships with member bodies and/or associations to leverage exposure locally.
- Generate buy-in and support for marketing programs from local sales teams lead and key Stakeholders.
- Complete monthly/quarterly reporting on field marketing activity to measure impact and alignment to objectives.
- Develop and deliver email marketing campaigns into local markets in collaboration with the regional demand marketer.
Skills Required
- Excellent standard of written English.
- 2 - 3 years of experience in a B2B marketing role and the ability to work in a global cross-border environment.
- An understanding of the asset management space or experience in a similar role preferred.
- Ability to handle time-sensitive projects and working to deadlines.
- Enjoy taking responsibility for multiple projects simultaneously and know how to keep yourself, and others around you, organised and focused on a plan.
- Strong relationship building and negotiation skills to manage internal stakeholders and work at a fast pace with the rest of the marketing team.
- Enjoy working with a diverse group of colleagues and stakeholders and the ability to work remotely from your colleagues and remain connected through regular calls and conversations.
- A natural aptitude for collaboration and thrive on working in a high-pressure environment.
- Experience with CRM and MAP tools - Salesforce and Pardot preferred.
