The Durban Monitor (further referred to as TBM) is a startup organization utilizing a unique business model and multiple media channels to bring potential prospects closer to our target audience.
TBM will be hiring 10 very special experienced self-governing sales professionals whom will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing the whole of our sales funnel from lead generation through deal closing; after sales; sales administration and reporting.
Minimum requirements:
- Be in the possession of at least a matriculation certificate;
- Our ideal candidate is literate and fluent in written, and verbal Business English. Other local languages strongly valued in addition to English: e.g. isiZulu;
- Must be computer literate and savvy with handheld devices;
- Must have his/her own vehicle or other reliable transport;
- Must have an impressive track record with contactable references in sales;
- Our ideal candidate is a charismatic, extroverted team player with high integrity levels - in it to develop long-term sustainable business relationships with our clients.
- Our candidate molds the impossible with strategical and tactical thinking and professionally scores advertising space through negotiation skills and with a good work ethic reaches goals beyond set targets.

Our onboarding plan contains:
- 4-Day Training on location in which we will help you develop new skills and enhance your career followed by a team decision and possibly a three months trial period;
- We offer an above average 'base salary' when proven suitable and we have very lucrative commision structures in place for those who score;
- When you perform accordingly TBM will substantially increase your base salary and commission agreement;
- We offer medical aid assistance, funeral assistance, pension or provident plans, compensation for transportation and also for the use of your personal handheld device;
- Each half year we will hold open career discussions with your manager and review your benefit package and salary level.
- We adjust your salary every year according to the national salary index;
- At the end of each year, you shall receive a 13th-month salary equal to the average base salary earned over the preceding 12 months.
