What will you be doing:
Your work will focus on these main responsibilities.
- Performing maintenance and repair jobs in relation to other products of Wrtsil corporation
- Fulfil tasks given by the Field Service Team Leader
- Use & maintain workshop & field tools in accordance with good mechanical work practices.
- Prepare & submit parts requisitions as required.
- Maintain current individual timesheets & expense records to support the timely invoicing of jobs to customers.
- To maintain a professional appearance & conduct.
- To maintain the quality & efficiency of mechanical work performed (as measured by warranty costs) & in accordance with manufacturers' specifications & ISO procedures.
- Accurate & timely care of Wrtsil special tools (field & workshop) used to perform service work.
- Ensure customer satisfaction with job performance through positive interactions with customers.
- Confirm with & abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures & instructions.
- Conform to all safety rules & use all appropriate safety equipment.
- Adopt a pleasant, adaptable attitude to assist Company staff with any "ad-hoc" duties that may be required.
- Submit accurate and high-quality service work reports within 48 hours of returning home from assigned jobs.
- Promote Wrtsil Products and Services.
- A formal qualification within Engineering field.
- Any background experience within an Engineering/Service environment.
- Sound knowledge of quality, safety, and environmental skills.
- Pro-active and independent individual with a team player attitude.
- High attention to detail with a methodical approach.
- Willingness to learn, develop and gain a broad knowledge of Wrtsil products.
