Finance Administrator

Our client, a manufacturer based in Shakas Head, are growing their team and are looking for an Financial Administrator to support the MD and Procurement Manager with all administration related to procurement, shipping and finance. This role requires the candidate to be available immediately ideally.

Responsibilities

Shipping Clerk (Seasonal exports)
  • Compilation of commercial invoices and packing lists as per customer requirements must have high attention to detail to ensure invoice / packing lists are as per the purchase orders.
  • Booking of shipments with nominated forwarders including clearing instructions, EUR1 applications
  • Sales orders for exports
  • Compilation of order inspection reports for customer sign off
  • Seasonal imports
  • Assistant to procurement manager
  • Arranging import permit
  • Overseeing inspection of dangerous goods container under guidance of procurement manager
  • Compilation of paperwork relating to imports
  • All administrative tasks pertaining to this role
Procurement managers assistant
  • Compilation of spec sheets and BOMs in inventory system for approval
  • Ordering of office and production consumables
  • Planning barcode /carton sticker requirement and placing the necessary orders
  • Run weekly open orders reports and follow up with suppliers where deliveries have not been made
  • Capturing import invoices on inventory system and checking
  • Goods Receiving on inventory system post delivery into our warehouse
Requirements
  • 3 years or more in a similar role
  • Must live in the Dolphin Coast area
  • Experience working on Dear Inventory would be an advantage.
  • Excel skills are essential and required to be intermediate at least
  • Excellent organisation, planning skills
  • Must be a strong communicator - written and verbal
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Self starter and self managed - able to pro actively get things done
  • Good project coordination skills would be an advantage.
  • Previous freight forwarding, shipping and logistics experience would be a huge advantage
