Responsibilities:
To support both the MIG Finance & Tax Business in the analysis, improvement and redesign of core and support business processes from current state assessments to post-implementation support to deliver an improvement in efficiency, standardisation and straight-through processing with defined exception management.
The ideal candidate should be a subject matter expert and have working experience in certain areas which can include:
Finance systems & financial accounting.
Tax systems.
System migrations
Data and insights
Regulatory & financial reporting
Process improvement and/or audit.
Skills:
Relevant degree (Finance, accounting, tax, IT or equivalent).
3 years experience in a Linked Investments/Financial Services Provider or Audit environment.
3 years Business analyst, Process Improvement specialist or Finance professional with experience in process improvement.
Demonstrable experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders to obtain an understanding of business processes.
Demonstrable ability to operate independent, efficient, and effective in a high transaction volume and complex environment.
Other standard systems such as Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
SQL or Python experience will be beneficial.
