The Bank administrator is responsible for ensuring that payments made are valid, accurate and complete and processed timeously. In addition, the bank administrator is required to support various teams by assisting with queries on payments.
Detailed Responsibilities
Banking
- Verification of beneficiary information before payments are processed
- Adding new beneficiaries
- Loading of payments in local and foreign currencies
- Maintaining limit increases
- Obtaining and loading of foreign currency transfer deals from the bank
- Liaising with the bank on deal, payment and beneficiary queries
- Saving proof of payments
- Attending to queries from Finance, Reservations and other teams
- File all payment documentation in accordance with Wilderness filing protocols
- Bring new ideas, suggestions and improvements.
- Any other tasks management may require
- Matric and Computer Literate (Microsoft Office, email, Internet).
- Previous work experience in a bank administration role
- Working with data and a desire to learn new programmes
- Detail orientated, organised, methodical and good communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure while remaining accurate
- Good time management skills
- Strong team player and ability to interface with various departments.
