Objectives:
- Overseeing the full finance function.
- Dealing with Directors of the company on a daily basis and being actively involved in financial decision making.
- The role provides the opportunity to add real value and demonstrate your ability to improve the financial well-being of the company.
Full Finance function including, but not limited to:
- Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns to SARS
- Submit monthly EMP201 (PAYE/UIF/SDL) returns to SARS
- Prepare monthly Management Accounts and Analysis for review by directors
- Coordinating month end procedures
- Facilitating the year end audit
- Debtors Supervision
- Creditors Supervision
- Tax Compliance and VAT audits
- Assisting with BEE compliance
- Assisting with credit management and legal matters
- Oversee stock takes
- Provide MD with monthly reporting packs
- Working hand in hand with the MD and OD to improve operations and find efficiencies throughout the manufacturing process
- Ensure timely payments
- Oversee the debtor and creditor function
- B.Com with CA qualification
- Or B. Com with Financial Management experience
- Track record of being highly organised
- Commercially astute with an attention to detail
- Builds relationships quickly but also able to make tough decisions
- Proactive and can do attitude
- Able to work autonomously but knows when to ask for help
- Experience in Manufacturing is recommended.
- Costing Finance is also helpful.
