Finance Manager

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager who is results-driven to join our Finance Department.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Analyse costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and the companys actual performance compared to the business plans.
• Able to manage and guide employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.
• Analysis of revenue streams.
• Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
• Develop trends and projections for the firms finances.
• Facilitate audit to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances are maintained.
• Improve systems & processes in Finance.
• Manage finance function for three companies (RSA, UAE &UK).
• Manage cash flow.
• Manage the preparation of the companys budget and financial statements.
• Maintain the financial health of the organisation.
• Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
• Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to senior management while recommending further courses of action.
• Review and ensure completeness of revenue recognition monthly.
• Review and facilitate compiling of monthly Board pack.
• Responsible for SARS compliance.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor of Accounting degree or relevant qualification.
• Honours in Accounting (Advantageous).
• Knowledge in Sage X3, Finnovo, TreasuryOne (Advantageous).
• Previous experience in finance and monthly reporting.
• Strong excel skills.
• Knowledge of IT consulting business (Advantageous).
• A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
• Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations (Compulsory for RSA and advantageous for the UAE).
