As a public procurement clerk, my duties may include: 1. Assisting with the preparation of procurement documents. 2. Maintaining records of purchases, pricing, and other procurement-related information. 3. Communicating with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotes and information. 4. Processing purchase orders and ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures. 5. Assisting with the evaluation of bids and proposals. 6. Monitoring delivery schedules and resolving any discrepancies or issues. 7. Keeping abreast of procurement regulations and guidelines to ensure compliance. 8. Providing support to procurement officers or managers as needed.

Having worked for the Government institutions, I have acquired different skills. I have a certificate in Computer literacy. I have worked as Finance Clerk amongst other duties, I was responsible for handling petty cash. Worked as a Typist, was responsible for typing documents for all sections in the institution and and had to meet deadlines. Worked as a Supply Chain Clerk, ordering stock for the institution. Worked as a Stores Clerk, do stocktaking. This allows me to comfortably accept any challenge in these sections and perform exceptional.

Would love to have some more hands-on work on projects in my next role. I have enjoyed talking to clients in my current position, but I did not have the chance to handle more responsibilities, like managing deliverables and delegating tasks.
