We are looking for a qualified and highly professional Financial Accountant that has 5 year’s minimum experience. If you are a meticulous individual with great organizational and time management skills, to say the least, you are the person we’re looking for.
Required candidate: Preferably Male EE Candidate.
Qualifications:
- B Com Degree (Accounting) or equivalent
- SAICA Articles (Preferable)
Years of working experience: Minimum 5 years
Skills and Competencies:
- Sage X3-ERP (Preferable)
- Strong Accounting skill
- Problem Solving
- Attention to Detail
- Adaptability
- Analytical Thinking
- Deadline driven
- Good knowledge of IFRS
- Good language and communication skills
Key responsibilities:
- Monthly reconciliations:
- VAT
- Payroll (PAYE/SDL/UIF)
- Medical Aid
- Creditors
- Debtors
- Fixed assets
- Quarterly balance sheet reconciliations – other accounts
- Monthly/Bi-monthly VAT returns
- Prepare EMP 201 monthly
- Weekly cash monitors
- Monthly bank reconciliation
- Prepare month-end journal entries
- Prepare adjusting journal entries
- Processing credit card statement and credit card slips for Exco
- Loading payments for suppliers
- Quarterly intercompany reconciliation and confirmations
- Fixed assets management
- Assisting the Financial Manager with other duties
Location: Illovo in Johannesburg
Salary per month: 20-25k
