Key Qualifications And Experience Required For The Financial Accountant
- CA(SA) / CIMA / SAIPA
- Min. of 2 years experience
- Background in Real Estate or Financial Sectors
- Proven track record of working with financial models
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems
- Experience in Shared Services or Group Accounting (advantageous)
- Develop and maintain timely and accurate management accounts and reports in accordance with IFRS for SMEs
- Prepare and submit bi-monthly vat returns for business partners
- Liaise with external business partners to ensure external data is correctly reported as financial data
- Prepare supporting information for annual audit and liaise with the Boards audit committee
- Review monthly results and implement monthly variance reporting & MIS
- Establish guidelines for budget and forecast preparation, and prepare annual budget in consultation with the partners
- Contribute to new business development by preparing financial models and identifying profitability opportunities
