Are you a detail-oriented financial Accountant with a track record of success? We are looking for a Financial Accountant to join a close-knit finance team & the Accountant will report directly to the CFO.
What You Will Bring
- Education: B.Com Degree
- Experience: 3 - 5 years experience in financial accounting, including leadership experience
- Skills: Strong IFRS knowledge, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to thrive under pressure
- Tech Proficiency: Advanced skills in MS Office (especially Excel) and experience with various accounting packages
- Lead & Manage: Oversee a team of 8 while providing coaching and performance evaluations.
- Financial Oversight: Handle the full financial function for multiple statutory entities, including preparation of consolidated Management Accounts and Statements of Financial Position.
- Reporting & Compliance: Ensure accuracy in financial reporting, cashflow forecasting, and tax calculations. Prepare reports for the executive committee and manage year-end audits.
- Analysis & Coordination: Analyze financial results against budgets, investigate variances, and coordinate the annual budget process. Manage creditors reconciliations, payments, and liaise with banks and SARS on financial matters.
