Job Title: Contracts and Rebates Specialist

Job Summary
The Contracts and Rebates Specialist will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of contracts and rebates within the organisation. This includes drafting, negotiating, and finalizing contracts with customers and managing rebate agreements to ensure compliance with company policies and maximize financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Management:
- Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize customer contracts.
- Ensure all contracts comply with company policies and legal requirements.
- Maintain an organized system for contract documentation and retrieval.
- Develop, implement, and manage rebate programs.
- Calculate rebate amounts based on sales data and contractual terms.
- Ensure timely processing of rebate payments to customers.
- Ensure all contracts and rebate agreements comply with relevant regulations.
- Identify potential risks in contract terms and propose mitigation strategies.
- Conduct regular audits of contract compliance.
- Analyze sales data to track performance against rebate targets.
- Prepare regular reports on contract status, rebate performance, and financial impact.
- Provide insights to senior management on trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding contract and rebate inquiries.
- Resolve any issues related to contracts or rebates promptly.
- Build strong relationships with key customers to foster long-term partnerships.
- Identify opportunities to streamline contract management processes.
- Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in managing contracts and rebates.
- Work closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, and other departments to ensure alignment on contract terms and rebate programs.
- Coordinate with IT teams to maintain systems used for tracking contracts and rebates.
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role involving contract negotiation/management or rebate administration.
- Strong understanding of commercial law principles related to contracting.
- Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel).
- Attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
- Experience working within the FMCG industry or a multinational corporation is advantageous.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) for managing contracts/rebates.
- Strong communication skills both written & verbal for effective stakeholder engagement.
